Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation‘s Empowerment series returned to the Lobero Theatre to help support the rehabilitation programs and services that enrich the lives of people with disabilities in the community.

On September 21, 2023, Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation presented The Power Within, an evening with Victoria Arlen, who shared her amazing story of what she calls “unrelenting persistence” in the face of unimaginable odds.

Her own power, coupled with the love and support of family, empowered her to achieve things most thought to be impossible. Victoria recounted how she went from four years in a persistent vegetative state, to Paralympic swimmer, to ESPN’s youngest female correspondent, to Dancing with the Stars contestant – all before her 30th birthday.

Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital’s Therapeutic Recreation programs inspire, motivate and support people with disabilities to do amazing things.
